To receive Veteran Preference, the Veteran Preference Documentation (Form DD-214) must be submitted at the initial interview and must include a copy of an official document showing dates of service and mode of discharge.

Vacancies can be filled in less than two weeks, but some may take longer.

Once the position is completed, the hiring authority reviews all applications select the most qualified candidates, and arrange interviews. Once the pre-employment process is completed and the vacancy remains open for hiring, the most qualified candidate will be contacted by the real estate appraiser’s delegate.

DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE IN FLORIDA

Candidates must pass a drug test before being accepted for employment. Refusal to undergo a drug test or a confirmed positive test result will disqualify the applicant from employment with the BCPA for a period of one year. During employment, the candidate will be subject to the BCPA drug testing policy.
